Miss Newark USA was established by Alicia Blanks, a Newark native who is a true advocate for pageants and empowering women. Alicia started her pageant journey at the young age of eight, and made it her mission to bring pageantry to her city. Miss Newark USA is a pageant for beginner and seasoned competitors. Along with other pageant experts, Alicia facilitates trainings and workshops, for future contestants to assist with pageant guidance.  You do not need to be a resident of Newark, NJ to compete.
